The 2012 Young Readers’ Choice awards go to:

Grades 3—5: “The Dunderheads” by Paul Fleischman; honor award to “Little Sister Is Not My Name” by Sharon Draper

Grades 6—8: “13 Birthdays” by Wendy Mass; honor award to “Closed for the Season” by Mary Downing Hahn

Grades 9—12: “Hate List” by Jennifer Brown; honor award to “The Maze Runner” by James Dashner.
